The chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on the conference, Dr Femi Okurounmu has disclosed the National Leader of All Progressives Congress and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has soften his initial stance against President Goodluck Jonathan’s proposed national Conference.
Okurounmu made this disclosure during an interview with SaharaTV. He senator said he met with Ahmed Bola Tinubu and discussed in vast on the proposed conference; of which after their discussion, Tinubu soften his earlier stance on the confab.
According to Sahara Reporters: On Bola Tinubu’s accusation that President Jonathan was not sincere about the National Conference, Okurounmu said he had met with Tinubu and that after the meeting, Tinubu has softened his stance on the conference.
It will be recalled that the leader of the major opposition party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the Jonathan’s-led administration confab as a ‘Greek Gift’. He further stated that the conference was diversionary and deceitful.
