Clara Chima confinement, Falana playing to the gallery or acting on paymasters instruction?

Mr.-Femi-Falana-360x225I am beginning to think Femi Falana and Sahara Reporters are working hand in hand, it is an established fact that Sahara Reporters style of journalism is called ” stomach first journalism” the implication is that at the right price, they can publish any junk. On the other hand, the zeal with which Femi Falana is pursuing this case makes one wonder if his law firm has become a human right organization or could it be, he has been paid in full by those who wants to ridicule Gov. Sullivan Chime? May be he sees this an opportunity to advertise himself the more.
Seriously, Femi Falana should come out clean and tell us how Clara Chima contacted him and also show us the brief that was sent to him by Clara. It is not enough to come to the pages of  newspaper to declare that  that he has her instructions in writing to challenge her illegal detention at the Government House, Enugu. A claim Clara denied during the press briefing with her husband Sullivan Chime.
It is also curious that Femi Falana did make any attempt to contact the governor or his office to notify him of the brief but rather went public with allegation that Chime has conspired with his private physician to sentence his wife to unwarranted mental torture and psychological trauma in a room in the Government House for the past four months.
Even when Chime admitted during a press briefing that his wife is having mental health challenges, and was at a time taken out government house for treatment and vowed to do everything, no matter the personal pains, to protect his wife from ridicule, Mr Falana still insisted that the wife be released from illegal custody. One wonders why Femi Falana should insist that Clara’s confinement is illogical even when it clear she can no longer take rational decisions.
Just like a commentator said; One must watch closely the allegations against Governor Chime. There are many reasons to believe that there is no merit to those allegations. Among such reasons is the absence of motive. Why would the Governor imprison his wife? If he does not love her anymore, I am sure he has several other options open to him. Even the possible motive of concealing some deep family secrete is not tenable. He married her after he was already the Governor. So, this is not the wife that could be said to have known too much about the life of the Governor that he should like to contain her by way of a lock-down.
Of particular curiosity is the fact that Femi Falana, SAN, appears to have taken a step in furtherance of these allegations. That takes it beyond mere speculation and gossip. Though Falana’s involvement does not infuse any credibility whatsoever into the allegations, any such formal step would require a counter of equal measure and degree of formality. I rest my case.
