Many injuries were recorded with nearby hospitals coming to the rescue of the injured.
Sources close to the warring youths on both sides say the youths are set for a showdown later tonight.
Timi of Ede, Oba Adesola Lawal has appealed to the youths of his town to sheath their swords and embrace peace.
Similarly, Oludo of Ido-Osun Oba Aderemi Adedapo has also appealed to youths of both communities to allow peace to reign as the communities are now intertwined, especially through inter-marriage, and it would be hard to separate one from the other.
The monarchs have also called on the state government to wade into the matter and foster peace between the communities.
