Ogun PDP distance itself from Obasanjo’s letter

ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo
The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party on Saturday said former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, erred in his letter to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Chairman of the Ogun State PDP, Mr. Adebayo Dayo, told our correspondent in Abeokuta that Obasanjo should have discussed the issues raised in his letter verbally with the President.
Dayo stated that the issues would have been better thrashed out between the two leaders rather than through a letter, which was eventually leaked to the public.
“I’m sorry for the writer of the letter,” he said.
The PDP state chairman, however, declined to comment when asked whether the party would sanction Obasanjo for writing such a letter to President Jonathan.
