Okorocha's leadership experimentation in Imo state exposed more darker side of the Hausa man than rumour had it before ::|:: Imo Legislator In Alleged Road Contract Scam

The member representing Nwangele State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo has taken two persons to an Owerri Magistrate Court claiming that the accused persons duped him the sum of =N=3 Million Naira with false pretence to construct the Abba-Umuchima-Dikenafai Road.

In charge No. OW/570/2013, the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge and were later granted bail.
Ironically, when contacted, the 1st accused person, Mr. Onuegbu said that it was the said legislator and the legislator’s agents which include the 2ndaccused person that defrauded him of the said sum and that he had all the documents to back his claim.
He further stated that the legislator who did not show up in court as complainant on the day the accused persons were arraigned, only used the police to intimidate, incarcerate and charge him to court.
Meanwhile, the matter has been adjourned to 16th January 2013 for hearing.
