Four killed in Enugu auto crash

A ghastly auto crash on Tuesday morning killed four people at Owo junction, Amechi-Idodo along Enugu Abakiliki express road.
The crash occurred at about 9am, according to a statement by Enugu State Police Command spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu.
It was gathered that an articulated vehicle with Registration number SH 378 GIM loaded with bags of cement collided with a J5 bus with registration Number XG 384 ENU loaded with passengers.
Meanwhile the corpses of the deceased have been deposited at Annunciation Specialist Hospital Emene, near Enugu, while some of the injured persons were rushed to the same hospital for treatment.
In another development, men of Umumba Division of the Enugu State Police Command have nabbed one Ozo Kelvin of Abor village in Udi local government area of the state.
The suspect was arrested at Umumba with a CK Sanya motorcycle suspected to be stolen.
It was gathered that suspect stole the said motorcycle from where it was parked at Hausa quarters at 9th Mile corner Ngwo Enugu and converted same to his own use.
Amaraizu who also confirmed the arrest, said the suspect is now helping the police in their investigations.
