He referred to the politics in the state as being “Picky”, “Rivers politics has been a picky politics in this country”.
Speaking on Channels Television breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily, Mr. Enguozu criticized the media’s report on the situation of the state, stating its not as bad as we perceive it to be, being an indigene of the state.
He also criticized the efforts of the Save Rivers Movement stating that if the governor was doing his job there is no need to save the state, insisting that “if he believes that he is running an organization called Save Rivers Movement (state) and the governor is doing well, so who is he saving Rivers state for?” he asked.
He referred to the reports given by Senator Magnus Abe, who was allegedly shot by the police with rubber bullets, as an “orchestrated plan” adding that the state is “problem free”.
Mr. Enguozu added that the problem between the police commissioner and the governor of the state is a “personal problem” and doesn’t affect the citizens of the state.
So who is he saving Rivers state for?” he asked.
