Hijacked Ethiopian Airlines flight lands in Geneva

GENEVA - A hijacked aeroplane landed in Geneva Monday, the airline and a news report said.
The Ethiopian Airlines flight left Addis Ababa at 2130 Sunday GMT for Rome before it was "was forced to proceed to Geneva Airport," the airline said online.
"All passengers and crew are safe" it said.
All other flights from the airport were cancelled, and its gates closed, according to Swiss news broadcaster.
