Family Left Horrified After Grandmother Sends Chilling Texts… From The Grave?

A family found themselves a bit horrified after they started receiving text messages from their grandmother, who’s been dead for some time now.
MailOnline reports that Sheri Emerson placed a phone in her grandmother’s casket during her funeral because one of her favorite things to do was text her loved ones. On occasion, Emerson, a South Shields care worker, and the rest of her family would send their now-deceased grandmother a text to cope with their loss, but one day they got a response from the phone that left them horrified.
The first message Sheri received from her grandmother Lesley’s phone was, “I’m watching over you, you’ll get thought this, you’ll be all right.” Pretty creepy, right?
She would receive two more messages that appeared to be from the grave, the first said, “I’m watching over you and it’s all going to get better. Just push through.”
“I felt sick when I read it, I was in shock, I didn’t know what to think,” Emerson said.

Startled and confused, Emerson decided it would be a good idea to ask who was on the other end of the line.
“A disturbing vegetarian,” the number replied.
Emerson knew her late grandmother wouldn’t ever reply to her, but said texting her phone was just something she did to help get over her death.
“I’d sent a message on Wednesday night telling her about family life and then I got the reply on Thursday,” she said. “So you can imagine what I was thinking seeing a message flash up from her.”
After realizing what was going on, Emerson said she ended up receiving a text from the person on the other end, apologizing for their actions.
Emerson’s grandmother died at the age of 59 in 2011 and was buried with many of her favorite thing, one of which was the mobile phone. Her uncle had called the phone company to try to buy the number, but they had told him they would just disconnect it and it would be hers forever. Obviously, someone screwed up.
For many in the family, texting their beloved grandmother was the only way to stay connected since they couldn’t bear visiting her grave.
Fortunately, the phone company has reached out to Emerson and her uncle to correct the situation, although there’s no word on what exactly they were able to do for them.
So what would you do if you thought a deceased loved one was texting you from the grave?
