Although news between Israel and Palestine has died down a significant amount, it seems that violence in the area isn’t going to be going away any time soon. On account of their devastating loss, Palestinians have recently announced that none other than Iran is soon to be further arming them in preparation for a “new war against Israel.”
According to the Washington Free Beacon:
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised increased support for Palestinian terrorists and urged them to stockpile arms in anticipation of a new war on Israel, according to public comments made Thursday following his meeting with members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group.Further showing his angst for the Jewish land, Khamenei went on to say after the meeting that, “[f]ighting the Zionist regime [Israel] is a war of destiny.”
Despite much of the world insisting those fighting for Palestine aren’t terrorists, the fact that Iran is choosing to support, arm and fund an outward extremist group speaks volumes against these claims. The reality in which an enemy of the United States and Israel is striving to “intensify their fight against the Israeli regime,” by continuing to arm terrorists in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip, could have rippling effects throughout the world.
Lines will be drawn, allegiances will be tested – and an all out WWIII could potentially break out.
Iran, insistent on the destruction of America, Israel and their allies, seems unconcerned with the devastating certainty that could result in their decision. Instead, they’re urging Palestine to kickstart efforts against Israel back up with the cash and weaponry soon to be sent their way.
“The resistance movements in Palestine should boost their preparedness day by day and reinforce their power resources inside Gaza,” Khamenei said. He then went on to speak of the Koran saying that their failed attempts to destroy Israel via rockets was only the start of their “divine promise” of the Jew’s utter annihilation.
Concluding, he noted that, “The enemy should feel the same worries in the West Bank as it does in Gaza,” and that, “The Islamic Republic and the Iranian people are proud of your victory and resistance, and hope that the back-to-back triumphs of resistance groups will continue until final victory.”
Seeing how Iran is poking a beast and is very unprepared to deal with the repercussions, what are your thoughts on their recent decisions? Let us know how you think America will respond as their greatest ally is threatened yet again.
