Madeline McCann man wanted on NZ child sex charges

Newly released court documents have revealed more information about the man British police are questioning in relation to the disappearance of Madeline McCann.
Roderick Robinson, who's also known as Roderick MacDonald, is a convicted paedophile, who's believed to have been living in Portugal at the time three year old Madeline disappeared in 2007.
He was arrested several weeks ago after four years on the run. He had skipped bail in New Zealand and Australia.
Robinson faces child sex charges in both countries.
Court documents released to ONE News today show Robinson was due to face trial on three counts of indecently assaulting two girls under the age of 12.
It's alleged he abused the girls between the 3rd and 8th of November 2008, in Hamilton.
His trial was set for May 31 2010.
But Robinson failed to appear for a trial callover on December 23, 2009. A warrant was issued for his arrest and information presented at court suggested he'd fled to Fiji.
New Zealand police have contacted British authorities about outstanding arrest warrants here for Robinson.
