President Obama doesn’t get much respect from Republicans–but today (Oct. 21), while trying to cast a ballot in Chicago, Obama didn’t get much respect from a jealous boyfriend either.
When meeting people, Obama usually does what any politician does. He gives a polite kiss on the cheek to women. Well, that didn’t fly with one guy who was at the polling station with his girlfriend, Aia Cooper. While Obama was voting, Aia’s boyfriend, Mike Jones (DO NOT say “who?”), walked by the president and said, “Mr. President, don’t touch my girlfriend.”
Yes, you heard that right. Who does he think Obama is… Bill Clinton?
Fortunately, the president was able to take the comment in stride, and teased Aia by saying, “I can’t believe Mike, he’s such a fool.”
The best part of this whole episode is that the president refuses to be embarrassed by fools, he gets even. After voting, Obama told the girlfriend, “Give me a kiss and give him something to talk about.” Then he gave Cooper a hug and a peck on the cheek. “Now he’s really jealous.”
