[Watch] Pilot’s AMAZING Save When Plane Takes a Dive Toward the Pavement

Passengers aboard a German flight, unbeknownst to them, were in more than capable hands during a recent flight. All caught on tape, a pilot was able to make an amazing save when his plane took a sudden dive toward the pavement on account of massive crosswinds.

Video of the incident was placed on YouTube by user Flávio Silva, in which a German airline TUIfly flight was recorded coming in for a landing. According to Sploid:

The pilot… managed to correct a sudden dive while landing at the Madeira International airport, one of the hardest in the world. Crosswinds were so strong that he could only manage to get the plane completely straight a few seconds before touching the ground.

Although they say that flying in a plane is exponentially safer than driving in a car given the reality that accidents occur much less frequently, seeing videos like this certainly provide no peace of mind.
