The Xbox One will introduce a screenshot capture feature in 2015, Microsoft has revealed.
Head of the Xbox division Phil Spencer told IGN that the company is planning a smaller update in December, admitting that screenshot capture is more difficult than first anticipated.
"As we come back into the New Year, we'll see new stuff, and screenshots is on the list," Spencer explained.
"It's a little more technically challenging than I thought. Two weeks ago, they think they've found a good solution for screenshots. They're working on it. They know people want it. The team has a path to getting it done, and now it's just prioritising."
Spencer also said that one of his personal priorities is to reduce install times on the console.
The Xbox One's November update was recently previewed in a video by Microsoft.
The company will introduce personalised backgrounds to the homepage, as well as Twitter integration with recorded clips and more.
October's update focused on Snap and Friends functions, as well as improvements to TV and video.
