BREAKING! Another Air Force fighter jet deployed against B’Haram crashes

Air Force crashes
An Air Force fighter jet that was deployed for military action against Boko Haram has crashed in Adamawa State. A source who confided in our correspondent said that the aircraft, an M-1 35 helicopter came down at Sangere ‎in Girei Local Government Area of the state.
It was stated that the aircraft ‎crashed about 10. Kilometre from the Adamawa State capital. The source said that the aircraft was deployed to halt the insurgents’ advance to Yola after they were dislodged by the military from Mubi on Thursday night.
‎Our correspondent has not been able to get the official position from the Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen Chris Olukolade, as the calls to his mobile telephone line did not connect. It was learnt that three crew members were involved in the crash.
However, there are unconfirmed reports that there are no survivors in the crash. The Air Force authorities have said that the Air Force has made over 6,000 successful missions in the operations area.
The missions involve troop deployment, movement of equipment, attack missions and surveillance.
