Police in Oregon are saying that the first date between two people who met through an online dating site is arguably the worst date they’ve ever heard of after the woman did the unthinkable. Jeffery Mack, 23, went to meet Heather Dureen Hegre, 20, at a North Plains Arby’s after the pair had chatted online through Meetme.com, according to KCRA. Hegre got into Mack’s vehicle after the pair met up, then they proceeded to go through the drive-thru to order food, and that’s when things went south.
Mack bought Hegre a milk shake, handing the cashier a $5 bill to pay for it and received two $1 bills as his change. He put the two bills in his wallet, then placed it on the dashboard.
Out of nowhere, Hegre snatched the wallet off the dashboard and took off running through the parking lot. Mack immediately called 911, and police ended up tracking the young woman down to her minivan.
When they searched the vehicle, they found much more than just Mack’s wallet. The van was littered with hypodermic needles, two jars of hash oil, marijuana pipes, a scale, and a pill bottle full of meth.
Naturally, Hegre was arrested for the theft as well as having additional charges for drug possession.
To think, all that work she put into planning this and she would have only made out with $2, had she not gotten caught, that is. The moral of the story?
Don’t do drugs.
