The Police Headquarters in Abuja recently paraded one Faith Nuhu and
five others who s pecialised in child kidnapping and sale of children.
The suspects, among them, a medical doctor, were arrested after Faith Nuhu, kidnapped three of her sister’s children but ended up selling two of them at N600
The kidnapped children, Grace Musa Idris, aged 13, Philip Musa Idris, 3, and Paul Musa Idris, were
allegedly kidnapped by Faith from their home in Kafachan, Kaduna State on the pretext of going to buy them biscuits.
Faith who is an aunt to the children was said to have immediately taken
the children to the motor park, where she boarded a vehicle to Owerri.
But on the way, she dumped the eldest of the children, Grace, who they
felt was too old and intelligent to understand when things go wrong
along the Abuja-Jos highway and continued with the two other children
Philip and Paul.
However, help came the way of the young girl after some motorists, who
saw her wandering stopped and asked her what she was doing alone on the
busy road.
After narrating her story, they gave her a lift and reported the matter to the nearest police station, where policemen on duty made contact with her parents who in turn showed up to pick her up.

The suspect was later arrested through police analytical tracking system .
After her arrest, the suspect confessed to the police that she was not
alone in the kidnap business and led the police to other members of her
gang in Edo and Imo state. Other members of the gang included Chigozie
Goodwill, Mrs. Evelyn Ojiaku, John Ojiaku, Elizabeth Onyemaobi, and Dr.
Amadi Godwin Uzoma.
When the suspects were paraded before newsmen at the Force headquarters
Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer said one of the suspects,
Evelyn Ojiaku operates a private hospital, Royal Maternity/Clinic and
child service around the Umuyi Akaba Ikeduru, off Kilometer 6,
Owerri-Okigwe, road and also engages in sale of children.
The police also revealed that the woman had earlier bought a day old
baby belonging to Faith Nuhu, for N100, 000 and that she operates her
illegal maternity home with the connivance with one of her sons, John
Ojiaku, SunNews reports.
