They initially found methamphetamine inside the vehicle but things were about to get a little stranger when they arrested Garcia and his passenger Ashley Cecilia Castaneda.
While travelling in the police vehicle in Waco 31-year-old Castaneda told an officer she had a loaded .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun inside her.
To his credit the policeman took her revelation seriously and called in a female colleague.
After a quick search she retrieved the weapon and confirmed it was loaded.
