A drink driver blamed a beer-battered fish for being over the limit.
John Przybyla, 76, told police his lunch was the reason they detected alcohol in his system after he was stopped in Wisconsin.
But the officers in Adams County weren’t buying it.

It was beer-battered fish
‘The smell of a moderate odour of an intoxicating beverage was emitting from his breath,’ the police report said.
There just happened to be an open beer in his truck as well and his eyes were also described as bloodshot.
Przybyla was not actually over the legal limit of 0.08%.
But he was still arrested because he tested above a special limit of 0.02% he had been given after being caught drink driving nine times.
He was found guilty of his latest offence and could be jailed for more than 12 years.
