Some friends drift in and out of your life. Other, however, are definitely there for the long-haul, friends for life.
Take great-grandmothers Lil and Jane, who’ve been best friends for over 70 years.
Actress and singer Kamari Copeland from California shared a video of the best mates hanging out together on Twitter two days ago, explaining: ‘my great grandmother who’ll be 100 next month (on the right) & her best friend who is 102! 71 years of friendship’
The absolutely adorable video has now been retweeted over 38,000 times and liked over 44,000 times.
In the clip, Alva can be heard saying ‘and you got to be 102, and you got to be 100, and both of y’all look fabulous’.
‘We know it, we can’t help it,’ Jane responds, as Lil giggles beside her.
Kamari also shared this picture of grandma Lil working on her Mac after a recent manicure. We sort of want grandma Lil to be our best friend too.
However the proud great-granddaughter clearly wasn’t expecting quite so much love for Lil. ‘How did my granny go viral?’ she asked yesterday.
And these guys are total friendship goals.
We’ll keep you posted.
