Global Radio, who own Capital, Capital Xtra, Radio X and Heart, are rumoured to have sent an email around to all its staff instructing them to take down any mention of her half time show from their sites.
A source told The Daily Mirror: ‘It was made absolutely clear Beyonce was not to be mentioned. No photos, no music videos, no Beyonce.
‘Anything that had been published from the Super Bowl performance had to be removed.’
According to insiders, the company were keen for Queen Bey to perform at Capital FM’s upcoming Summertime Ball but it now looks like it will clash with her Formation world tour.
A Global spokeswoman denied that the move was due to negotations over the Summertime Ball breaking down and told the paper: ‘The email was sent because playlist was being delayed by a day this week, to allow the playlist team to make their normal weekly deliberations.’
Metro.co.uk have contacted reps for Beyonce for a comment.
