They are one of the largest corporations in the world, but ask Google and they’ll tell you that they DO pay the right amount of tax in the UK.

A Google search reveals all, providing that you type in ‘why don’t you pay tax, Google?’
If you try that, you’re faced with a rather telling top result – ‘Don’t Believe What You Read; Google Doesn’t Avoid Tax.’

It all seems a little bit contrary to the reports that Google paid just £130 million in tax over 10 years, but it’s a brilliant coincidence in the face of the mounting pressure that Google is facing over tax affairs.
