The new structure, currently called the Sky Mile Tower, will be in Tokyo and will measure in at around one mile high.
According to Architectural Digest, the mega-tower should house around 55,000 people – roughly the population of Kidderminster.
And providing the developers get planning permission, the tower will be surrounded by a series of man-made hexagonal islands.

Solar panels, wind farms and algae farms will also be built on the island to provide electricity.

There are also going to be ‘multilevel sky lobbies’ with shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, libraries, gyms and health clinics for residents.
But if you’re hoping to move there (*sighs wistfully*) in the next few years, prepare to be disappointed.
It’s not set to be completed until 2045 – 29 years from now.
