Huge fireball outside Glasgow Airport after taxi explodes



Yikes.
This was scene at Glasgow Airport after a taxi burst into flames.
It is thought the vehicle was stationary when the fire broke out in the taxi rank by the busy terminal.
The cause is not yet known.
Fire crews were called to deal with the blaze this afternoon.
Thick smoke was seen billowing from the taxi.



A police spokesman told The Daily Record that the airport was able to continue operating.
He said: ‘Police and emergency services responded to an electrical fire within a vehicle outside the main terminal building of Glasgow Airport.
‘The fire was extinguished and the vehicle will be recovered in due course.



Odd things happening in front of Glasgow Airport.
‘The airport is operating as normal.’
