You might have seen a traffic cone on the road – maybe even a sheep.
But have you ever seen a triceratops triumphantly bridge the carriageway?
This was the scene on the Isle of Wight on Friday night, where a giant replica dinosaur held up traffic on the high street in Godshill.
Nicknamed ‘Godshilla’, she belongs to Martin Simpson who is known locally as the ‘Fossil Man’.
Normally, the beast is happy to remain grazing in its garden overlooking the street but on Friday, a group of people decided to give her an outing after they had downed several pints.
That priceless moment when you're driving home from work at 3am and the road is blocked by a 20ft Triceratops!!! #godblessbeer #someoneneedsamedal

Martin told the Isle of Wight County Press: ‘It must have taken five hefty lads to move it.
‘It’s great people are talking about it, but I wouldn’t want to encourage anybody to cause a hazard for traffic.’
The three-horned lizard has since moved back to its normal habitat, so traffic can get past again.
