MGM Studios, who make the James Bond films, are reportedly doing whatever they can to work around Craig’s schedule in an attempt to get him to stick around.
It was reported earlier this week that Craig had quit the franchise, but it appears they’re not giving up hope just yet.
Craig last year hinted that he was ready to hang up his suits and quit the Martinis, saying in an interview: ‘I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.’
Quite an extreme reaction, but we’re getting the feeling that Bond isn’t high on his list of priorities.

‘They know he wants to do Purity and had hoped to get the new film in cinemas next year, but they have vowed to push it back a year to help make his schedule easier,’ a source told the paper, and added that they were reluctant to lose him as his decade-long stint as 007 had made a $2billion (£1.4b) profit for the studio.
Will Daniel be shaken, not stirred, enough by their offer to stay on for another film? Watch this space.
