A man has created a moveable pub after buying and renovating a 1970s bus.
Unfortunately there’s one not-so-small problem.
At 6ft 6ins, Peter Sonneveld is too tall to fit behind the bar – so he has to hire shorter staff to pull pints.
He spent 20 months working late into the night to convert the Routemaster into a nightspot.
Peter, 34, from Guildford, Surrey, said: ‘It was absolutely worth it. I got to spend time playing with a big bus.’

He said: ‘I am too tall at 6ft 6in you need to be about 5ft 7in to fit.
‘I am the driver and I have a crack team of waitresses.

‘The only thing I can’t do is drive the bus and have the bar running at the same time as it is illegal.’
Bus fantatic Peter, who quit his job to work on the bus, reckons he’s spent about £30,000 on the project.
And he was quick to spot an opportunity, buying a second bus for £18,000 after noticing the prices were creeping up.

‘More recently though they have been selling for about £50,000 because they have become so hard to come by.’
