Manchester United players are said to be split over the possible arrival of Jose Mourinho as the club’s next manager.
There is growing speculation that the former Chelsea boss is in line to replace Louis van Gaal in the summer, but this could lead to some Red Devils stars considering their futures.
Mourinho’s time at Chelsea ended badly, with it being widely accepted that he lost the dressing room, leading to a disastrous run of form that put the reigning champions in some danger of a relegation battle.
According to The Sun, some United players have their concerns that the harmony at Old Trafford could be disrupted by the Portuguese’s arrival, with popular assistant Ryan Giggs mentioned as one of those that could leave.
However, a deal may not be done yet as the report adds that Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino has been sounded out over the job.
