Messi fan to meet idol

An Afghan boy pictured wearing an improvised Messi jersey made out of a plastic bag will finally get the chance to meet his football idol.

 Murtaza Ahmadi shot to fame after photographs of him dressed in the blue-and-white top went viral.

The Afghan Football Federation says it's in the process of setting up a meeting between Lionel Messi and the five-year-old.

In the meantime the young football fan is just as happy to practice kicks with the Afghan national team.
