Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is reportedly in talks over a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2019, taking his wages up to £160,000 per week.
The Germany international has been one of the Gunners’ best players this season, and has given Arsene Wenger’s side a real chance of winning their first Premier League title since 2004.
Ozil became Arsenal’s most expensive signing ever when he moved from Real Madrid in 2013, and it is little surprise the club are keen to keep hold of him.
According to The Sun, Ozil has held talks over renewing at the Emirates Stadium, along with team-mate Alexis Sanchez.
