Shoppers flee Topshop store on Oxford Street after 'fire breaks out'

Topshop has been evacuated after reports of a fire at its Oxford Street branch earlier today.
Hundreds of shoppers fled the store shortly after 3.30pm on Saturday.
The fire is believed to have started at the Office store in the basement of Topshop.

The Nike shop next door was also reportedly evacuated.
Lily Southall said: ‘It was on the very bottom floor, in the Office footwear department.
‘We could smell something burning then saw the fire… It was mayhem.’

Nicole Benford said the music was stopped and then everyone was told to leave the store on the tannoy.
She added: ‘Some lights caught on fire. Not serious but some peeved teens! All closed down for now.’
The London Fire Brigade confirmed it had been called to Oxford Circus.
