A male
teacher has been struck off the teachers' register and his female
partner, also a teacher, has been disciplined for their involvement with
a 13-year-old girl who died.
The decision was made after an Education Council disciplinary tribunal concluded today.
The complaints assessment committee of the council
alleged an improper relationship existed between the two teachers and
the girl.
The girl has since died and her death is the now the subject of a coronial enquiry.
