The West Coast hip-hop star was due to play at the Raggamuffin Festival on Saturday, but apparently missed his flight from Dubai, according to organisers.
However, TMZ reports he arrived in Australia on Friday but was sent packing because he didn’t have the proper visa.
The Game was due to do six shows in Oz starting yesterday, but Australia’s Department of Immigration wouldn’t let him and his crew leave the airport, TMZ reports.
The event’s director, Andrew McManus, issued a statement: "The Game was 100 per cent approved to enter New Zealand. His management and I know this as fact.
“We honestly believed The Game would honour his obligations to our festival and it was only when we had our people at the airport on Saturday to pick him up to play Raggamuffin IX did we find out he did not board the plane in Dubai.”
Did he fly to Dubai from Sydney on Friday when the Aussie custom's cops barred him from the country?
The 36-year-old muso was scheduled to arrive in Auckland on Saturday morning, and set to perform at 6.15pm that night.
The crowd at Auckland's Trust Arena began booing after organisers announced at 5pm that the West Coast rapper had missed his flight from Dubai. Who can blame them?
The festival has been beset with problems. Beanie Man, Ceelo Green and Spawnbreezie were some of the international acts that were removed from Raggamuffin's 2016 line-up.
The cancellation of The Game at the last minute means all ticket holders will be entitled to a refund from point of purchase, organisers said.
The rapper has reportedly agreed to come back and give New Zealand three shows in September. If he catches his flight, that is.
