Yet another accident with man trapped under vehicle on
A woman in her 30s has died after a car ploughed into a several people in Guildford town centre.
Emergency services including an air ambulance were called to the scene in Bridge Street, in Surrey, at around 1.30pm.
A grey Land Rover Defender left the road and collided with a number of pedestrians, said a Surrey Police spokesman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another pedestrian, a man in his forties, suffered serious pelvic injuries as a result of the collision and has been taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.
A third pedestrian, a woman also in her thirties, suffered minor injuries.

He said: ‘Several people are believed to have suffered serious injuries.
‘Police and other emergency services quickly attended and remain at the scene.
‘The incident is expected to cause significant traffic disruption so motorists and pedestrians are being advised to avoid the area until further notice.’
