Twitter War Erupts As Hollywood Actresses Clash Over Donald Trump

Rebecca Diserio Two famous Hollywood actresses are in a Twitter war over the presidential election. It began when one actress said Hillary Clinton is the worst choice ever, even worse than Donald Trump. A Hillary supporting actress became enraged, lashing out as the social media battle went back and forth. You’ll be so surprised at the unlikely people who will back Trump, and this explosive information might be the key to winning this presidential election.
Susan Sarandon, who is a big time Bernie Sanders supporter and huge far left liberal, went on the record on March 29th with Chris Hayes at MSNBC. The conversation turned to politics, and what Sarandon revealed is shocking. When asked who she would vote for if the campaign came down to Hillary vs. Trump, Sarandon said she would probably vote Trump. To Sarandon, voting Hillary is not an option, and she made that clear.
When Hayes asked Sarandon how she would vote in a Trump-Clinton matchup, the actress replied, “I don’t know, I’m going to see what happens.”
“Really?” a surprised Hayes pressed.
“Really,” Sarandon replied. “You know, some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately. If he gets in then things will really explode. Some people feel that.”
Actress Debra Messing, who is a big time Hillary supporter, took issue with Sarandon’s refusal to vote Hillary and the possibility she would vote Trump. Later on Twitter, Messing felt the need to call out Sarandon for not towing the line for a Democrat.
It went on from there and is still going on. What is amazing is the glimpse into the mindset of the voting practices for all those Bernie supporters who will be so upset when he does not get the nomination. For a lot of different reasons, mainly because Trump is self-funding and he is not a politician, these Bernie supporters will vote Trump in a Hillary-Trump match-up.
Well, isn’t that just amazing? This is why the polls forecasting the general election are way off. Not until we have the two candidates, who will run against each other, will any poll begin to reflect the actual mindset of voters.
That is why when people look back to 1980, in the race between Carter and Reagan, Reagan was behind by 25 points. Reagan had not solidified the nomination. Bernie supporters are going to play a big role in this election if they stay in it to vote. They may be the key to the crossover votes from Democrats and Independents needed for a GOP candidate to win.
