Anwar Hadid Reveals How His Sisters, Gigi and Bella, Help Him with Modeling

Move over Kardashian family, there's a new famous family on the rise.

Anwar Hadid will appear in Paper Magazine’s #YOUth’s fashion editorials, looking dapper than ever. In his interview, the 16-year-old opens up about how his supermodel sisters, Gigi and Bella, have helped him with modeling, what his name means to him, and what his plans for the future are.
Considering modeling runs in their famous family, one might think it comes naturally for him too. However, Anwar admits that he gets scared sometimes. “I’m a shy person in general, so my sisters always try to tell me to be myself when I’m on a set,” he said. “The first time I ever shot anything, I was really scared. It all worked out, but…I was scared.”

As for whether or not modeling is his only goal — it isn’t. “I started working on clothing designs about two years ago but didn’t think anything of it until recently,” he reveals. “I made a bunch of pieces — not just men’s or women’s, but for anyone who wants to wear them — and one of the things I really want to do is put them into production.”
