After appearing to publicly accuse her husband of cheating
on her with several women, Beyoncé is apparently feeling sorry for
Jay-Z, after he faced a backlash over the allegations. In her visual
album Lemonade, the 34-year-old embarked on a violent musical tirade
which sparked rumours that the music mogul had been unfaithful and
further prompted speculation about who the other woman, identified only
as "Becky with the good hair," might be.
Following the fallout from the video album,
the rapper was castigated by fans of the Queen Bey and booed as he
attended the launch night of his wife's Formation tour. A source told Hollywood Life
that Beyoncé felt compelled to dedicate her track Halo to her husband
after feeling sorry for him as he faced the unholy reaction from her
loyal army of fans. "I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful
husband," she said. "I love you so much."
"In her heart, she knows he's a good man, a good business partner and a good father," said an insider. "Beyoncé has
a heart and actually felt sad for Jay. She was with him when people
were booing him yesterday and she knows he's taking a beating in the
media and in the public.
"She wanted to make him feel good, just a bit, and that's
one of the reasons she dedicated 'Halo' to him. She knew that if she
came out and said something nice to him, that her fans would do the same
and be nice to him. After all, he's coming with her to several more
shows. And she doesn't want him to be treated poorly and booed across
the U.S."
The touching display may have been an attempt to alleviate
speculation that the pair are on the brink of divorce, however, there
was no hiding the fact that both of them have been spotted without their
wedding rings.
"While the Sorry singer took to the stage at Marlins Park in
Miami, Florida without her $5m (£3.4m) diamond ring, Jay Z-s wedding
band was also noticeably absent according to Mirror online, suggesting that Beyonce hasn't entirely forgiven her husband for his alleged infidelity. And neither have her fans.
