Chrystal posts photo of unrecognisable Jordan – then deletes it

He has admitted to slimming down and adopting a more healthy lifestyle but Bachelor Jordan Mauger would not have been impressed last night when his former girlfriend, Chrystal Chenery, a contestant on series one of The Bachelor, posted this unflattering shot of her former lover.

She swiftly pulled it down and replaced it with another – one more in keeping with Jordan’s reformed image today.
It is unclear if he put pressure on her to make the change.
Chenery softened her words, too, writing: “I wish Naz and Jordan a beautiful future together #badphotochoice. #jordanisababe #justapredictionpeoplecalmdown"
In her original post, Chenery wrote: "Jordan likes b****es… So I’m backing Naz to win #b****lorette.”

That Facebook post drew a slew of negative and abusive comments from fans of the show, who slammed the former reality show contestant and accused her of spoiling the end of the TV series, which still has 10 days to run on air.

Holly Emily Hannah criticised Chenery, writing: “I don’t know if you realise but The Bachelor NZ hasn’t finished on tv and you just ruined it for everyone and this just sounds like a jealous ex girlfriend talking… Grow up and move on Chrystal!!”

Bianca Bachinger-Healey wrote: “Just shows how small NZ is that they have to pick a Man who’s been with a past contestant.”

Scout first broke the news of Chrystal and Jordan’s past relationship in February, and the new bachelor told us the pair dated “five or six years ago, but only for a period of a couple of months”.

Jordan said both had a sense of adventure, and despite only dating a few months, jumped into the relationship feet first and travelled to Vancouver together.

“We travelled to Vancouver together, “Jordan told Scout. “It was an exciting love adventure. We were both travellers of the world, we got on like a house on fire. But we were only destined to be good friends.”

The love vanquished quicker than the air miles.

“We had an unexplained spark and connection, and Chrystal was a great travel partner, but we weren’t feeling in love,” Jordan said.

Despite the short romance, Chrystal has been determined to cash in on it since her former boyfriend has become famous. Call it pining, or call it failing to give up on her 15 minutes of fame, the outspoken blonde has been happy to let the country know she dated the bachelor first.

Capitalising on the link, last month Chrystal posted a throwback pic of the pair looking cosy as they smiled for the camera at an open-air concert.

We doubt, though, Jordan would have been smiling, at the throwback pic his ex posted last night.
