At long last, we’re getting new music from Kesha!
After she made a surprise appearance during Zedd’s set at Coachella, rumors began to spread that these two might be cooking something up together.
This time the rumors are true! Today, Zedd tweeted cover art
for a single titled “True Colors” which will feature the pop
songstress. The tweet confirms the new music will arrive this Friday
(April 29, 2016).
According to TMZ, this is officially a Zedd track featuring Kesha, which Dr. Luke’s label Kemosabe Records agreed to.
In more Kesha news, it appears her mother has dropped her counterclaims against Luke.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kesha’s mother Pebe Sebert had
filed counterclaims of intentional and negligent infliction of
emotional distress after Luke sued for defamation. But yesterday, she
decided to drop her counterclaims and attempt to move on.
“The litigation with Dr. Luke has been a nightmare for Mrs.
Sebert and her family,” said Alex Little, Pebe’s attorney. “She has
decided to move on and find peace and forgiveness in her heart rather
than dwelling in the cancerous past of an ongoing lawsuit with no end in
sight.”
So, although Kesha’s court battle isn’t over, she back making music!
