Team Matt or Team Steve?
Candace Cameron Bure recently dished to Celebuzz that the two Fuller House hunks — played by John Brotherton and Scott Weinger — will
be returning to Netflix series for Season 2 to win the heart of D.J.
Tanner. According to the actress, who has partnered with Unilever to
encourage America to recycle their bathroom products, fans can expect
more from the love triangle that’s been brewing on the previous
episodes.
“We start production next week of Season 2 and we’re so
excited,” she told us in an exclusive interview. “It’s a really big
season.”
“Matt and Steve are back and we’re still going to have a
love triangle with D.J., but we’re gonna have some new faces on the show
as well as some old throwbacks that I know people are gonna love,” she
continued. “I think D.J. still really both of these guys even though she
chose herself at the end of Season 1.”
As for other things to look for in the upcoming season? Bure
promised that relationships will be fleshed out and that the children
will also have their time in the spotlight.
“Obviously, the fans of the old show are familiar with D.J.,
Stephanie and Kimmy, but I think we’re going to focus even more on the
kids this year so you can learn all about the new kids on the show and
dive into more parenting storylines, which I love,” she said. “That was
what Full House was really about.”
“It’s still going to be kooky and wacky because you’ve got
three single ladies,” she added. “There’ll be a rotation of really,
really good-looking men.”
Better get your popcorn, folks!
