A flagship smartphone that goes by the name Huawei P9 (EVA-xxx) is now listed in GFXBench database,
which gives us another opportunity to take a look at what’s under the
hood of one of the most anticipated smartphones coming from the Chinese
company.
First of all, the listing confirms Huawei P9 will
come with a 12-megapixel photo snapper, which features dual-LED flash,
autofocus, and full HD (1080p) video recording. It also sports a
5.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p)
resolution.
Since we already know that the P9 will include a dual-camera setup
on the back side, as well as a Quad HD display, it’s a bit confusing
that GFXBench lists the device with a single rear-facing camera and a
full HD (1080p) display.
Multiple Huawei P9 versions will be announced on April 6
The reason might be the fact that Huawei P9 will be available in at least four variants and the cheaper version will pack a full HD (1080p) display and a single rear camera.
Furthermore, Huawei P9 will come equipped with a
powerful HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor inside, paired with a Mali-T880
graphics processing unit and just 3GB of RAM. The most expensive version
of the smartphone is likely to include 4GB of RAM.
Also, the P9 is expected to pack 32GB of internal
memory, but there’s a high chance that the smartphone will feature
microSD card slot for storage expansion as well.
In the front, Huawei’s flagship smartphone will
feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera that can capture full HD (1080p)
video as well.
Naturally, the P9 will ship with Android 6.0
Marshmallow operating system right out of the box. It will also include a
fingerprint sensor on the back side, but there’s no mention of the
battery yet.
