It's only day one of the royal visit to India and Bhutan, but Kate Middleton is -- as we've come to expect – crushing it in all aspects.
One of the Duchess' first engagements was accompanying her husband, Prince William,
to lay a wreath at the Taj Palace Hotel, in Mumbai, in remembrance of
the victims of a 2008 terrorist attack where staff members helped
protect guests. She wore a beautiful red, paisley Alexander McQueen suit
with an Indian feel to it.

Next up was a stop at the Oval Maidan, a popular
park for playing cricket. The British royals even found time to take
part in a game. But it was Middleton's fashion game that was the star --
she was on point in a flowing and colorful dress by Mumbai-born
designer Anita Dongre.
The 34-year-old Duchess opted for a brilliant blue
gown by Jenny Packham, one of her favored designers, for the evening's
gala dinner, where the royals were treated to a Bollywood performance.
Prince William concluded the day with a speech, where he revealed that visiting India had always been high on their wishlist.
"When Catherine and I were married, India was the
first place on Catherine's list that she told me that she wanted to
visit,” he said. "Two children and five years later, we have finally made it."
Kate prepped for the visit last week in a stunning sheer blue dress by another Indian designer, Saloni.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- as Prince
William and Kate are formally titled -- are in India to pay respect to
the historic ties with Britain, as well as learning more of the country
in the 21st century. They fly to New Delhi on Monday.
