The rapper’s brother could face up to life in prison.
Jelani Maraj, Nicki Minaj’s older brother, was officially indicted on child rape charges on April 4th, 2016 according to Bossip. A grand jury decided there was enough evidence to charge Maraj with sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
The charges against Maraj including, felony predatory sexual
assault against a child, felony sexual conduct against a child under
age 13, sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a
child, could land the newlywed in jail anywhere from 15 years to life.
Minaj’s camp has yet to comment on the indictment, but the rapper has
remained by her brother’s side throughout the legal proceedings.
