The news of Ronnie Corbett’s death at the age of 85 has sparked a range of passionate reactions on social media from grief and sorrow over the loss through to the joy of remembering his best moments. 
But by far the most inappropriate discussion going on in the corners of Twitter is the speculation of which celebrity we will lose next, with many suggesting that bets should be placed on Corbett’s friend Bruce Forsyth. Alongside this, others are already sending out tasteless jokes in relation to the 88-year-old presenter.
As this is written, Bruce is currently trending on Twitter and we’d like to think that the reason is his heartfelt tribute to Ronnie. But there is by no means a shortage of people making unfunny jokes and crass speculation about him.
Come on people, not cool.
