The Colorado Republican Party's decided last summer to not allow citizen’s to vote in the GOP presidential primary and they are outraged. Only delegates to July’s national convention will decide, Colorado gave their delegate votes to Ted Cruz and have left Colorado Republicans without due voting process. They've had their roles disturbingly stolen from them thanks to a select GOP election committee who has determined they decide for all republicans in Colorado.
'Get out the vote' means nothing to the GOP and have decided
to stand on the sidelines waving Super Tuesday on by while other state
voters across the country get their due process and let the people
decide who will be their nominee for the upcoming presidential election.
The Republican party may have put the noose around their
entire party’s neck with this latest stunt. All the while the democrats
build up their party not only allowing a traditional caucus for their
voters but encouraging everyone to exercise their rights and vote.
Showing support by voting is known as democracy and anything else is
overstepping boundaries of all citizens rights. The Republican executive
committee should get in touch with that concept before the party
totally collapses in on itself, if it hasn't already.
Many folks are saying they turning Independent as they are
sick and tired of the same ole political games. Steve House, Colorado
Republican Party chairman, cannot give a good reason for dismissing the
presidential preference poll although the closest he could come to one
is that too many Republicans would flock to their local caucus.
This election year has been more different than any in
history and party officials are scrambling to stop the barrage of namely
Trump supporters that are swamping the polls in thousands of new
citizen participants. The goal of the GOP is to stop the influence of
this large group of Americans from standing up to the elite.
The GOP should have supported this large movement and would
have already secured the Republican nomination and could have focused
itself on the democratic ticket. The Democrats do not seem to be
struggling and welcome the enemies within the Republican party to do
their job for them.
It is looking more likely that no candidate will secure the
nomination by convention time and those uncommitted delegates will have
few worries when they do get the option to vote, they can vote for any
one they like. What should make the difference to Colorado and to all
U.S. citizens is that the basic constitutional right to vote has been
stolen and should be heavily protested even by the Democratic party.
Colorado’s dirty political process allows caucuses to limit
participation and the insider’s club gets first dibs to further narrow
the voters’ choice in the largest competitive political nominations in
our history. By closing the gap for those that want to be counted they
have stirred up a hornets nest by taking their rights away. This kind of
political process is outrageous and its time to be heard.
When unknowing Republicans show up on Tuesday to cast a vote
they are in for a surprise that their vote is of no use in Colorado. It
will be interesting to see who is going to explain to the voters why
their party and Steve House finds them too much of bother and too
unpredictable to be trusted to make a choice.
