When US rapper Yo Gotti said "it goes down in the DM" he was
not joking. NBA star LeBron James could be hot water having allegedly
sent a direct message to model on Instagram. Rumours are rife that the
Cleveland Cavaliers forward is cheating on wife Savannah Brinson, after a
lady by the name of Rachel Bush posted screenshots of their alleged
conversations online.
The brunette, who has nearly 230,000 followers on Instagram,
raised eyebrows on 13 April when she posted a photo from the Cavaliers
home game and captioned it "basketball with bae (slang for "before
anyone else" or babe)."
She later added fuel to the fire by posting a screenshot of
the opening line of their purported direct messages and on Twitter
before swiftly removing it. But she was not fast enough and it spread
like wildfire, thanks to the power of social media.
The offending message appeared to show that James sent a
direct message which read "Hey whats up!" to Bush hours before she
attended the Cavaliers' 109-94 win, over the Hawks, on 11 April.
In an interesting twist, Bush is reportedly dating Cleveland
Browns safety Jordan Poyer, and the couple attended the game together.
James married Brinson, his high-school sweetheart in a
star-studded ceremony in September 2013 in San Diego. The couple have
three children together: LeBron Jr. and Bryce Maximus, and daughter
Zhuri.
But it seems that James has already shrugged off the
cheating scandal. Along with a video of him lip-synching to hip-hop, he
wrote the motivational message: "Headed to get that work in on our day
off bumping the homie @jerreau new LP "Never How You Plan". What's a day
off though!?!? Let's go people. Don't let nothing stop u from having
fun, working hard and smiling!"
