The full results have not yet been revealed, but insiders are offering insight.
Prince’s autopsy was completed on Friday, Apr. 21, the day after his death, and Carver County Sheriff Olson shared preliminary details from the report with TMZ.
His body had no signs of trauma when he was found in the elevator of
his home, and there was nothing on his body that indicated any sign of
suicide. The results will not be clear for at least a few weeks until
the toxicology report is complete. The examiner intends to gather more information on his family, medical, and social history before revealing any information to the public.
It was revealed
that Prince overdosed on the painkiller Percocet only days prior to his
death when his plane made an emergency landing at Quad City
International Airport in Moline, Illinois. He allegedly began taking
highly-addictive painkillers for a hip problem, for which he had
corrective surgery in 2010.
