Will.i.am has allegedly become the third judge to leave The Voice ahead of its move from the BBC to rival network ITV in 2017.
Will, the only remaining original judge from when the show first began in 2011, reportedly believes ‘it is the right time to leave’ as the show comes to an end with the corporation.
His act, Lydia Lucy, made it to the final of the fifth season but was pipped to the post by former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm
‘Will feels that with this huge change it’s the right time to leave but it’s quite an emotional decision,’ a source close to the star told The Mirror.
Ricky Wilson has already revealed he will not move to ITV with the singing contest, and it is thought that Paloma Faith is also done with the show, after sharing an emotional Instagram post last week when her remaining acts left the competition.
‘Last night I went down with the ship power dressing in possibly my last foray into reality tv shows,’ she wrote.
‘Paloma took a lot of convincing to do the show in the first place this year,’ added the source.
‘Getting rid of acts just doesn’t sit well with her and she has found it a lot harder than she first thought.
