Elizabeth Olsen
has been in some huge blockbuster films since her big-screen debut five
years ago, and she's had to walk the red carpet at some of the most
high-profile premieres in Hollywood.
Despite
her experience, Olsen says she still has a hard time feeling
comfortable in the dresses movie stars are expected to wear. Opening up to Allure for the magazine's June issue, the Captain America: Civil War actress opened up about how red carpet gowns don't really work for her, due to her curves.
"The
clothes we're expected to fit into aren't sizes; they're samples,"
Olsen, 27, explained. "They're not made for chicks with boobs, so I'm
very self-conscious about having them."
For
Olsen, the problem seems to stem from the pressure actresses face to
look amazing at star-studded affairs. However, that doesn't mean she
hates dressing up altogether.
"I have fun choosing an outfit for my best friend's wedding, but not [something] I'm going to be judged in," Olsen explained.
While
Olsen may feel self-conscious about her chest, she's not the only one
who seems to be paying attention to her red-carpet decolletage. Her Civil War co-star, Chris "Captain America" Evans, seemed to be mesmerized by her curves while the two posed for photos at the films' London premiere last month.
