Kanye West has had his fair share of ups and downs throughout his career, so when Justin Bieber started getting attacked for banning all future photo-ops with fans and walking around parks barefoot, Kanye intervened.
“Kanye can totally relate to what Justin is
going through as an artist and a public figure, so he reached out to him
to give him some support. He looks at Justin like a little brother and
wanted him to know that he’s there for him. He also reminded Justin just
to stay true to himself and never mind the haters,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
We’re glad Kanye told Justin to ignore the
haters because he certainly gained a few more when he recently told his
fans he’d no longer be taking photos with them in public anymore.
Apparently, they make him feel like “a zoo animal,” and while that seems
strange to us, Kanye totally understands it. And that’s exactly why
Kanye reached out to show his support.
Kanye loves Justin, so we’re not too surprised to hear he reached out. In fact, his sister-in-law, Kendall Jenner, recently told Harper’s Bazaar, “Kanye went two nights in a row [when Justin performed in L.A.] He’s a huge fan
— I was shocked.” Kanye and Justin are closer than we would have ever
imagined, but their friendship certainly makes sense if you think about
how much of a similar life they’ve lived.
